Patricia Forget

LPN IBCLC-Calgary, Alberta

Offering in-home breastfeeding support & day/night support services

  • After becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse in 2008, Patricia worked as a postpartum nurse and then as a pediatric nurse at the Alberta Children’s Hospital where she continues her Nursing work today.

In 2020, Patricia became an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC).

Patricia’s passion is to enable families to meet their breastfeeding goals!

Patricia discovered her love for breastfeeding while working in postpartum and when she had babies of her own. Patricia has three girls, Abigail, Hanna and Molly; encountering breastfeeding challenges with each but continued to breastfeed for many years.

Breastfeeding is the perfect “tool” when they are sick, tired, teething, and fighting sleep to name a few. Breastfeeding is also so convenient, and the perfectly personalized food for your baby.

We can’t wait for you to meet Patricia at your next Nourish Lactation Consult!

If you are an IBCLC interested in joining Team Nourish, please visit our website for more information. We hiring IBCLCs all across Alberta and Canada to help more Canadian families achieve their feeding goals!

Flo Ramos

RN (NICU TRAINED)-Calgary, Alberta

Hello, My name is Flo. I have been working as a NICU RN for 15 years now. I have 2 kids of my own. Providing childcare has always been a part of my day-to-day life.

  • I used to run my own dayhome for 5 years. I started working with private families doing night support services since 2017 as I see the need for it. I  understand how difficult it is to get a good night/restful sleep for first-time parents if their baby had just been to NICU or parents who got more kids at home and need support/ help with their baby for them to take a break. I am available to do days & nights since both my kids go to school now.

I am looking forward to finding the next family that I will be working with short term or long term. I appreciate you taking the time to read through my bio.

Stacey Tweedle

CD (DONA) Birth & Postpartum Doula, VBAC Doula -Calgary, Alberta and surrounding communities

Hi, I'm Stacey Tweedle and I am a certified birth doula, postpartum doula and certified VBAC doula!

I have been doing birth work coming up 3 years and I absolutely love it!  I love supporting families, helping advocate, teaching clients about the birth and postpartum period and helping to achieve the birth they desire.

  • In 2014 I had an incredible birth and my beautiful daughter was welcomed into this world. Even though my birth with her was amazing it wasn't without some strong advocating from myself. The hospital staff at my birth did not listen to me or believe me because they said a first time mom would never deliver this fast. Obviously that was not true. I thought "there has got to be something to help people in the birth space and postpartum space."

Flash forward to Nov 2020, with another birth in there and I took the DONA training. Through this, I also learned that my postpartum experiences though fine, could have been better. I immediately signed up for the DONA postpartum training the following year.

During my postpartum experiences, I had a lot of mental health struggles, mostly around breastfeeding and sleep.

I learned so much in my training that now I am super passionate about making sure my clients never experience what I did and that they are all rested and educated with evidence-based support.

During my time at your home you'll find me doing the following:

    Light housework

    Dishes

    Meal prep

    Modeling behavior

Talking with my clients about their experiences and being an emotional support for both partners

Making sure my clients are resting

    Feeding support

    Sibling care

I am passionate about meeting my clients where they are and helping them with whatever they need be it for 12 hours OR for 3 months a couple of times a week

Danielle Heinrich

CD (DONA)-Calgary, Alberta and surrounding communities

I am a small-town, BC girl, who is happiest outdoors in whatever way I can be. I am a hands-on, no bull-shit kind of person, very passionate about helping people.

  • After experiencing the gaps in our healthcare system with my own births, I knew I could make a difference. I dug in. I took my Birth and Postpartum Doula training, was hooked, and I have not stopped training since. With every course I take I walk away thinking how excited I am to implement these new skills with my clients but also, how/why is this not common knowledge!? Being a Doula, I can make sure that parents have all the information and tools they need to make informed decisions and be as comfortable and stress free as possible.

I am a mother of 4. I have raised a stepchild from the age of 3, had a 40-hour labour followed by an emergency cesarean birth, had an unmedicated v-bac (vaginal birth after a cesarean birth), and gave birth to a beautiful 26 and 5 preemie who lived for a short 5 days before passing away. I have experienced a lot and I have a lot of knowledge and love to share.
